The Exchange has launched a new product research tool to help advisers provide their clients with the best possible advice.
Synaptic Smart Search, provides product research from all the major insurers in the intermediary market. The research facility, covering life assurance, critical illness and income protection, allows data to be filtered using a maximum of five product features to meet specific client needs. Results can be stored under the client's file within Exweb and product summary reports can be produced to assist the advice process.
Advisers can either pay £3 for a product research report or £7 a month for unlimited use of each individual product category. Exchange members subscribing to all three protection categories will receive a discounted price of £15 per month.
Smart Search replaces the product databank research services previously available on Exweb.
