Delegates at this year's COVER Forum on 1 October will hear talks from the Financial Service Authority (FSA) and the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).

Among other speakers, the FSA will outline its national strategy for building financial capability in the UK and the FOS will discuss "Learning from past mistakes to ensure a successful future," at the Forum, held at The Brewery, London.

As in previous years, the Excellence awards, held at the Plaisterers' Hall, London, will be divided into provider and intermediary categories. A new award for Best Service Provider has been added to the line-up.

Go to www.covermagazine.co.uk/awards before 1 August 2008 to vote on the provider awards and have the chance to win £100 in John Lewis vouchers. Visit the same website or call Ann-Sofie Hallen on 020 7316 9188 to enter the intermediary awards.

- For event details or to book a table for the awards, contact Rachel Calvert on [email protected] or 020 7316 9472.
