Both the FSA and the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) will address delegates at this year's COVER Forum and Excellence awards, to be held on 1 October in London.
Forum attendees will hear the FSA outline its national strategy for building financial capability in this country. The body will also outline what effects that strategy will have on the market and beyond. The FOS will later weigh in with a talk on learning from mistakes. Like last year, the forum will be held at The Brewery.
Other speakers include LV=, Aegon Scottish Equitable, HealthSure, Scottish Provident, Axa and PruProtect.
The awards will be held later that night at the Plaisterers' Hall and will recognise high standards of professionalism and outstanding achievement in the protection and healthcare markets. There will be two categories of provider and intermediary nominees with a new award for Best Service Provider.
