Comparison website, uSwitch.com, has launched a life insurance comparison channel. The service aims to put most cases on risk within 24 hours but for those who want a speedier outcome, it also offers an express underwriting telephone service. It will not offer policies where life insurance premiums increase with age, however, as with such cover there is a high risk that consumers will not understand the total cost of the policy over its full term. Simeon Linstead, head of personal finance at uSwitch.com, said: "This is all about helping consumers to search the market for a life insurance policy to suit their needs."
