One in three full-time workers in the UK are concerned about their health due to stress levels caused by their daily routine. According to Legal & General's Health Uncovered research, 33% of full-time staff were worried that their jobs are affecting their health, while another 24% said they were generally stressed at work. A further 20% admitted they worked too many extra hours and 23% said they never took a break during work. Legal & General called for firms to combat stress in the workplace, adding that staff absence can impact on a company's bottom line.
