One in three private medical insurance (PMI) policyholders do not trust a single PMI provider, according to a recent study. The research, conducted by UK patient group, Beating Bowel Cancer, showed that 28% of policyholders lacked faith in the PMI industry. Calling for all policyholders to review their cancer cover, the group also revealed that more than two-thirds of customers would try to change their policies if they did not adequately cover them for cancer treatments unavailable on the NHS.
