Webline has announced a free pensions simplification report service on its site. Software provider Avail, now integrated with the portal, provides the reports which enable advisers to complete a bespoke and client-specific report, detailing the actions they need to take before the new pension legislation comes into effect in April 2006. The service could also be used as a tool for keeping clients informed of the forthcoming changes and covering the complex areas of advice required by clients. "It is important to contact clients now to ensure they are well-informed and plan accordingly. The FSA expects advisers to maintain high standards during the transition, and advisers should not leave the door open for complaints in the future with a failure to act now,"said Joe Hill, director of Avail.
