Royal London has announced the senior management team for its Scottish Provident and Bright Grey businesses.
The team will be headed by Ross Ainslie. Roger Edwards, proposition director at Bright Grey, will take the same role on the merged team alongside Steve Streak, Gordon Watson and Susan Sneddon who will take on the roles of sales director, operations director and retail director.
Edwards commented: "The remit I have been given is to keep and maintain both propositions. We want to make sure we are complementing, not competing with one another and we must strongly promote each brand separately."
He admitted there would be clashes in running both businesses, as each takes a separate approach to its marketing and product design. However, he claimed there were no plans for a merger into one business.
Alison Turner-Holmes, currently marketing director with Scottish Provident, will leave the business in July.
