Nearly nine in 10 advisers believe supermarkets should offer a full range of cover and explanations before they sell protection products to consumers, according to COVER's latest web poll. Some 89% of respondents to the online survey said supermarkets should try to fully explain the products before selling them. Only 11% disagreed. This month's survey asks whether intermediaries think more insurers should follow in the footsteps of Standard Life, which recently decided to publicise its declined claims statistics.
