CIGNA launches a new drug network for expatriates

CIGNA International has launched a new prescription drug network for expatriates based in the US and Puerto Rico. Members of its expatriate benefits are now able to collect medicine from over 45,000 pharmacies, using a CIGNA identity card. Policyholders only have to pay the level of excess or co-insurance that applies to their plan. Pharmacies can be located via a secure member website, or by phoning a 24-hour customer services line. Both brand and generic drugs will be made available, allowing members to have more control over the amount of money they pay on their excess.
