Onlyinsurance.com is to launch a private medical insurance (PMI) product and a payment protection insurance product (PPI) to the market early this summer.
The online broker decided to move into the PMI sector after it anticipated a failing NHS would increase demand for affordable private health cover.
The cover is targeted specifically at the over 50s market. The company anticipates its biggest rival will be Saga.
Meanwhile, the PPI offering has been developed following the bad spate of press recently surrounding that type of cover.
