Friends Provident collected two awards at the 2004 Online Finance Awards. The Salisbury-based provider picked up trophies for the best business-to-business online life and pensions site, and best business-to-business online protection site. Comparative quotation portal, Assureweb, was voted the best business-to-business data and quotation site, while The Exchange was highly commended for the quality of its service in the same category. Deborah Benn, chair of the judging panel commented: "The winning sites certainly had taken the time to address their target market and had not gone for a one-size fits all approach."
