Axa has swept the 2009 LifeSearch Protection Awards, winning seven provider awards out of twelve.
The insurer won for Best Service Provider, Best Critical Illness Provider, Best Underwriting Team, Best Individual Impact, TCF Award, Best Marketing & Communications and Best Overall Provider.
Jamie McIver, director of protection sales at Axa, said: "What makes the seven awards we won even more rewarding is that, unlike some other awards, it is the people at LifeSearch that individually vote for us. I believe this means that we are getting a lot of things right.
'I am doubly pleased about Naomi Greatorex receiving her award for the Best Individual Impact for the second year in succession which is a true reflection of the commitment and effort she gives to this special relationship."
Other winners at the awards were Royal Liver for Most Improved Provider, Pioneer, for Best Income Protection Provider, PruProtect, for Best New Initiative and Fortis, for Most Engaged Provider's CEO.
Cover also won an award, the 'Most Read and Relied Upon Publication' for the third year in a row. The judges remarked: "This publication is very informative and designed with a layout that is easy on the eye. It covers a wealth of topics, has expert journalism and commentary, useful case studies and is well researched which is invaluable in dealing with protection. It is very much a protection magazine that wants to put customers' interests first."
