The Exchange unveils its new portal service for IFAs

The Exchange has launched a new enhanced portal service for IFAs. Exweb Gold includes all existing Exweb services as well as new features such as in-force contract management, real-time policy valuations for pensions and bonds, a single access point for multiple providers and flexible client and IFA reports. Friends Provident and Standard Life were the first providers to utilise Exweb Gold for valuations while AXA, Norwich Union and Legal & General are all expected to join the service by the end of the year. IFAs that sign up before the end of March 2005 will only pay £25 a month for the rest of 2005. The standard price is £35 a month. David Child, managing director at The Exchange, said: "Exweb Gold is ideally placed to drive up usage of electronic services across the board."
