Three protection providers picked up awards at Incisive Media's inaugural Gold Standard awards in London. The benchmark award, which is based on the five key elements of financial strength, service, capability, fair value and trust were handed out to Friends Provident for life and protection; Scottish Provident for protection and Standard Life Healthcare for protection. Ben Gunn, managing director of Friends Provident Life and Pensions said: "These five elements really are key for customers in their choice of insurance company. We are extremely pleased to reach this high standard."
