A survey of over 600 HR professionals revealed that 88% think it is the employer's responsibility to help staff stay healthy, with 80% predicting increased duty of care over the coming years for employers to look after employees' health.

As a result, 92% said they would invest more in health promotion, 75% would spend more on employee assistance programmes and 73% planned to invest more in health screenings.

Over 1,000 workers were also surveyed and over 60% said they would appreciate more healthcare support for their employer.
