Friends Provident has launched Selling Techniques Toolkit to train advisers online in new methods to sell protection.
The provider said the new toolkit will give access to tools, tips and techniques that will help advisers polish their protection selling skills, especially those who are new to the protection market.
The material includes links to online seminars, podcasts, downloadable sales aids, enhancing sales processes, handling objections and gaining referrals.
Mark Jones, head of protection at the provider, said: "Within the current climate, going back to the basics of selling can sometimes be the most effective way of generating more sales. There was an opportunity to provider advisers with online learning that can help them sell protection effectively."
