Recent research from a NOP World survey show that 63% of people within companies responsible for providing benefits think that the impact of these benefits on the career decisions of their junior employees ranges from ambivalent to not at all important. In contrast, the importance of the benefits package to more experienced employees was cited as fairly or very important by 96% of employers. When asked which benefits they would consider cutting first to reduce costs, 27% of respondents said a company car, 14% said pensions and 11% said healthcare provision.
