AXA has reviewed its rates for level and decreasing life and level and decreasing guaranteed life or earlier critical illness. The changes took effect on 20 March and saw an average reduction of 3%. The rate cuts mean a non-smoking man, 35, with £100,000 cover on a 25-year term will pay £10.01 a month instead of £13.06. Iain Mallon, head of protection and e-commerce at AXA, said: "The combination of some of the most competitive rates along with a flexible sales process allows us to deliver a truly market-leading product proposition to the market."
