Income protection public sector plan updated, earnings guarantee upgraded and hospitalisation benefit added

VitalityLife has launched a plan designed specifically to protect mortgages, which can include its new serious illness cover (SIC) protector, alongside a raft of improvements to its income protection plan. The new mortgage plan, which is underwritten with five medical questions, can also include life cover, income protection, serious illness cover for children and waiver of premium. SIC protector SIC protector covers 145 conditions, including 40 conditions unique to Vitality, with a severity-based approach.
