Scottish Widows has appointed Jackie Leiper to the newly created role of protection director.
Leiper joins the protection team from her previous role as director of corporate pensions relationships, where she played a significant role during Automatic Enrolment. She will be taking overall accountability for the design and delivery of the protection business strategy and working across the group to improve the end-to-end proposition for customers and intermediaries. Scottish Widows had returned to the protection intermediary market in 2015.
