Median and DAS upgrade Smartguard policy

Specialist insurance management consultancy Median has joined with DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company to upgrade its mortgage protection policy Smartguard. The product now includes domestic emergency assistance from DAS as mandatory cover. The move also marks the entry of DAS into the life market. "We have done well in the health insurance market and have always recognised the potential for adding value to products in the life market," said DAS sales and marketing manager Ray Kneeshaw.
