Norwich Union Healthcare (NUH) has announced an enhancement to its group private medical insurance (PMI) offering. New and existing PMI business with 50 or more members can choose to purchase a new employee assistance programme (EAP), provided by leading EAP provider Right Corecare. The service, which is available to purchase from 1 July 2004, can help alleviate costs of staff absence due to stress and other issues. Access to both trained helpline advisers and face-to-face counsellors will be available through the service to prevent emotional, personal, legal, tax, marital, family, work and career problems. A Platinum package is available to companies with 300 or more employees, which includes additional services.
