AXA PPP healthcare has appointed a new chief executive, following the resignation of Mark Adams at the end of November.
The new chief executive has been named as Keith Gibbs. Gibbs' experience includes senior positions with Sun Life of Canada, Sentinel Life, Citibank and Lloyds TSB. During his career, he has established a specialist consultant business.
Dennis Holt, group chief executive of AXA UK, is confident that Gibbs is the best man for the job. 'We have been able to attract a highly experienced leader with an excellent track record. I am delighted he has agreed to join us. His wide-ranging skills and knowledge of the health, life and general insurance markets will be an enormous asset to AXA.'
According to AXA, Mark Adams left the company to take up a new appointment outside the insurance sector.
