Royal Liver launches guaranteed CI cover

Royal Liver is planning to launch a new guaranteed critical illness (CI) product this month.

Available from 23 October, cover will be provided as an accelerated benefit on level, increasing and decreasing term assurance and family income benefit. The product, called Progress, will replace Royal Liver's current reviewable CI product.

The definitions have also been changed to comply with the Association of British Insurers' minimum definition standards.
