IFACare, the body for long term care insurance brokers, is holding its first national conference in Stratford-upon-Avon on 19 and 20 February 2003.
The conference will include presentations from Paul Smee, director general of Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA), and Professor David Jackman, head of training at the Financial Services Authority.
Leading insurance providers will hold workshops and the head of health from the Association of British Insurers, Richard Walsh, is set to join the guest speakers in a question and answer session.
IFACare chairman, Graham Fidoe, said: 'This year will be key in the long term care insurance market. With full regulation 18 months away, and housing that has shot up in value, planning for care fees is more important than ever. Our first national conference will give members the opportunity to hear first-hand about developments.'
