The General Insurance Standards Council (GISC) has announced it will publish details of its decision on governance at the beginning of December. A key feature will allow the regulated community to become full members of the company, with full voting rights. The board will represent all market participants, including product providers, product sales people and consumers. The majority of members will be from smaller organisations and they will hold the majority of votes in the new structure.
