PruHealth and PruProtect have teamed up with eBay to reward policyholders who buy sporting goods on the website. Members can earn up to 40 Vitality points for purchasing sporting goods and equipment listed on eBay that cost £5 or more. The points are collected over the course of a year and can lead to reductions on the policyholder's premiums upon renewal. Shaun Matisonn, chief executive of PruHealth, commented: "Partnering with such a well known and visited website means we have access to a wider customer base." The website is only the latest in a string of partners that Pru has teamed up with. Other firms include Boots, Sainsbury's, Virgin Active and Cannons.
