CIGNA Healthcare and Group Life has joined forces with Channel Islands IFA, Rossborough Healthcare International, to launch its Fresh Diamond dental plan.
The product is being offered to the residents and business community of Guernsey and Jersey. Health and dental cover is important to the islanders as they fall outside of the UK and EU and there is no national health service on the islands.
Guy Jones, managing director of Rossborough, said: "CIGNA has an excellent reputation for providing benefits on a worldwide basis and we wanted to be able to offer its new dental insurance policy to Channel Islanders from a local broker who understands the unique identity of each island.
"As a local company, we understand how difficult it can be for companies to attract and retain high calibre staff and offering high quality, cost effective benefits can be part of achieving that."
CIGNA's Fresh Diamond plan offers immediate cover, no pre-joining examination, a choice of dentists and twice-yearly check-ups. It also offers routine treatment such as crowns, bridges and dentures, £1,000 core annual benefit, £300 cover for sports injuries and £300 cover for emergency pain relief.
