Brokers should not ignore healthcare cash plans as the benefits could complement a client's portfolio, David Wilson, intermediary manager at HealthSure, told delegates.
Wilson argued there is a growing market for cash plans among both individuals and companies and urged intermediaries to cash in on this opportunity.
He said: "It's cost effective and also opens up intermediaries' business to new clients as well as adding value to the service they are already offering."
