Firms aim to ensure that every borrower has access to mortgage protection during application process

Mortgage network Connect has appointed specialist protection advice firm Umbrella Protect to its intermediary panel, Connect for Intermediaries. The partnership will see Umbrella Protect's advisers provide Connect's network members with support and help in its bid to provide mortgage protection advice. Umbrella's specialist advisers will also provide protection advice to all clients referred by Connect advisers and its network members.
