Neonatal video messaging app allows parents of premature babies to receive update from NHS nurses

An app entitled vCreate Neonatal, which allows nurses to send video updates to parents of premature and sick babies, has helped reduce the stress and anxiety of 100% of its users, a survey has found. Released to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week 2018 next week, the survey revealed that all users found that vCreate video messaging links with neonatal nurses from hospital-owned iPads directly to parents' smart phones helped maintain the mental health of concerned parents - 100% also said the app helped ease separation anxiety, one of the most common emotions parents of preemies fe...
