LifeQuote announces GDPR policy for protection

Protocols for storing electronic data, physical documents and recorded calls revealed

Protection portal for advisers LifeQuote has announced how long it will sort adviser data and information in light of the GDPR. Data will be held based on three categories, the firm said. ‘Quotation only but no application' data will be stored for 365 days. ‘Application made, but no policy completed' info will be held for six years or longer if requested by the regulator. This allows for subsequent data analysis, for monitoring, compliance and to support an application and any subsequent enquiries, said the firm. ‘Policy in force' data will be kept for 50 years from date it went...
