L&G releases training programme to test adviser selling skills

Legal & General (L&G) releases training programme to test "knowledge and competency" of advisers who sell the insurer's protection products.

Trainsmart, the computer-based test for advisers and an industry first, was announced at Legal & General's annual Business Quality Awards on Thursday 9 February 2017, to the award winners and other attendees.  The Trainsmart programme will be ready for use in mid-February for intermediary sellers to test and understand the "knowledge and competency of advisers" who have regular interaction with L&G products and services, the insurer said.  Over 30 of Legal & General's largest protection firms have confirmed they will take part in the programme.
