L&G partners with virtual GP service

Legal & General has partnered with healthcare service, Doctor Care Anywhere, to provide virtual access to GPs for existing group income protection (GIP) customers.

Insured employees will have access to video and phone consultations with UK-trained and fully accredited GPs through their computer, tablet or smartphone. The service provides 20 minute consultations with GPs and appointments available from 8am to 10pm, 365 days a year. The service also includes a health tracking app, instant specialist referrals and fit notes as well as private prescription pick-up or delivery.
