Cirencester Friendly appoints ex Simplyhealth FD as senior independent director

Cirencester Friendly has appointed Ian Maude as senior independent director (SID) following the retirement of the former SID Philip Rouse from the board after 10 years' service.

Maude joined the Cirencester Friendly board as Non-Executive Director in May 2015 and has been appointed to the post of SID given his extensive experience in financial services, most recently as FD and CIO at Simplyhealth as well as being a Director of Denplan. Paul Hudson, CEO of Cirencester Friendly said: "Ian has contributed enormously to the Society over the last 18 months as a Non-Executive Director and I am delighted to welcome him to his new role as Senior Independent Director.
