The morale of British workers is decreasing rapidly due to the effects of the recession, according to a new survey from Norwich Union Healthcare.
British workers have reported that they have been working harder than before the current period of economic stability.
55% said they were working while ill, 48% said they were working longer hours, 37% were skipping lunch breaks and 33% were offering to take on more responsibility.
As a result, 46% were suffering from insomnia, 33% from migraines and 21% from anxiety attacks and palpitations.
