Scottish Provident has revealed that it will be launching a tele-underwriting service at the beginning of next year.
The firm has decided to launch a 'little-t' underwriting system where customers do some of the underwriting over the phone with the help of trained nurses.
Alison Turner-Holmes, head of marketing of UK new business at Scottish Provident, said: "We are tweaking a lot of issues but launching a tele-underwriting service is probably our biggest development."
