Skandia has launched a new premium calculator for advisers called Business Assurance ' Premium Equalisation Calculator.

The tool works by entering the clients' names, percentage of ownership in the business and the premiums paid. It then calculates the premiums on partnership and shareholder protection for all partners, regardless of the different levels of cover each may require.

The provider has also issued a free guide to the corporate protection market called IFA Guide to Corporate Protection. The booklet offers technical support on how to write and calculate cover for key employees as well as details on loan cover.
