A feature which appeared on page 23 of the June issue of COVER contained a mistake which implied Friends Provident no longer offers protection through IFAs. This is incorrect. The statement should have read: 'Friends Provident no longer offers family income benefit (FIB) through IFAs and only writes a very small volume of FIB policies within its overall protection business through its tied agents.' COVER would like to apologise for any confusion.
