Forum: PM's former aide to speak at AMII event
Former Government adviser Alastair Campbell will be giving the closing presentation speech at this year's Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (AMII) conference.
Campbell, who was Prime Minister Tony Blair's right-hand man for 10 years, will talk about his experiences, touch on resignations and the future at the conference taking place at the Hotel Ibis in London's Earl's Court on 14 June.
Other speakers will include high-profile business commentators from outside the industry alongside more industry-specific seminar sessions. COVER is the official media partner of the event.
"We aim to deliver a range of speakers that will benefit our delegates on a number of levels. Alastair Campbell has had a unique position to witness history in the making and will share with us the workings of the relationship between Government, the press and the people from a riveting perspective. Other speakers to be announced soon will focus on issues closer to home for the health insurance sector," said AMII chairman Stephen Walker.
The conference is open to both AMII members and non-members. There will also be an evening reception and dinner in the exhibition hall at the Hotel Ibis on the night of 13 June.
