Toni Smith discusses Heidi Loughlin, a police officer and mum diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer who spoke at the recent First Complete and Pink conference.

A combined First Complete and Pink conference was held in March to recognise excellence from brokers in each network. In what was an emotionally charged day, we wanted to make sure that one message really hit home - that every pound lent is a pound that must be protected. Despite our brokers selling record amounts of protection, mortgage business still outstripped protection sales meaning some people were saddled with a huge debt that they could struggle to re-pay should the worst happen.
