The Openwork Partnership (Openwork) has added Willem van Rooy, formerly of Quilter, as director of mergers, acquisitions and succession.
The new addition, previously Quilter's M&A director, is set to take up the role from the start of 2027. He is expected to lead Bain Capital-backed Openwork's strategic investments team. "There is a significant opportunity to use M&A to drive inorganic growth and succession across the partnership," van Rooy said.
