Swedish firm takes minority stake in London-based planner

Söderberg & Partners has taken a minority stake in Generation Financial Services, a London-based financial planning business.

The deal is the fourth IFA acquisition this year for the Swedish wealth manager. Earlier this year it acquired a majority stake in Timothy James & Partners, and minority stakes in Cambridge-based Dartington Wealth Management and Atherton York in North London.  The business previously secured significant backing from global investment firm KKR to fund its adviser proposition acquisition strategy.
