Enhancements for three most common claim areas

Royal London has added full payments for both heart failure and peripheral vascular disease with by-pass surgery to its critical illness cover (CIC) proposition. Heartbeat abnormalities and aortic aneurysms have been added as new additional cover conditions, while illness definitions have been altered to cover a wider range of treatments including thoracotomies and endovascular repairs. Royal London's CIC now includes additional cover conditions for four additional cancers, and low-grade prostate cancer claims will now be payable upon diagnosis, without the need for treatment.
