Sepsis deaths rise a third in two years

AIG Life is calling on the protection industry to change the way it talks about serious illnesses with customers in order to communicate the benefits of insurance more effectively. "As an industry, we have to change the conversation with customers and be more practical about the fact that people will at some time in their lives have a really serious illness in their family," said Nicki Plews, senior propositions manager at AIG Life.
