CIExpert describes Scottish Widows CI changes as 'progressive'

Alan Lakey, director of CIExpert analyses the latest changes from Scottish Widows to its Protect critical illness product.

CIExpert said: "Scottish Widows has upgraded its Protect policy with a number of sound enhancements including a catch-all condition called ‘Carcinoma in situ - with surgery'.   "The qualifying age for a children's claim has been extended until age 22 as well as a number of augmentations and rearrangements that serve to reduce confusion for both advisers and consumers."
