AXA PPP sponsors exhibition which addresses ageing society challenges

AXA PPP Healthcare is sponsoring the NEW OLD exhibition exploring the potential for design and designers to enhance the experience of later lives.

Hosted at the Design Museum in Kensington, the exhibition looks at how design can help people lead fuller, healthier and more rewarding lives in an ageing society, addressing themes including home, working, community, identity and mobility. Highlights include Miro the biomimetic robot companion, a therapeutic robot called Paro the Seal used to improve communication and reduce stress in dementia patients, the Aura Power Suit to add mobility and Sugru a mouldable material that enables taps, switches or other items to be adapted and gripped more easily.
