An overwhelming majority of advisers believe the Pre-Budget report announcement that tax relief on pension term assurance may be scrapped in April will further exacerbate consumers' distrust in the sector, according to COVER's web poll.
Some 86.4% of the survey respondents admitted that they thought the Government's latest revelation would further tarnish consumer confidence in the sector.
