AXA has appointed Iain Mallon as its head of protection marketing. Mallon, who joined from Scottish Provident, will be responsible for spearheading the development of AXA's newly launched protection business. Commenting on the announcement, Frank Wilson, marketing director at AXA, said: 'Iain has a proven track record in achieving significant business growth in a variety of sectors by identifying new opportunities as well as developing effective marketing strategies.'
